02 Sep Chamber begins Speaker Series Program Sept 7th

The La Mirada Chamber will have a packed meeting on September 7th at 8:00 AM at Polly’s Pies Restaurant & Bakery in La Mirada located at the corner of Beach Blvd & Rosecrans Ave at 14840 Beach Blvd, La Mirada, CA 90638.

This month, we begin our speaker series program.  The chamber is honored to have as our first speaker Gary Lindblad, Dean of the Crowell School of Business at Biola University.

Dean Lindblad earned a B.A. in English and education from the State University of New York, College at Fredonia; and Master of Arts and Doctor of Education degrees in higher education, work, and organizational change from the University of California, Los Angeles. In addition, Gary has an M.A. in Christian education from Talbot School of Theology at Biola University. Lindblad began his career in business schools as associate director of the executive and fully employed MBA programs at the Anderson Graduate School of Management at UCLA in 1992. He has been at the Crowell School of Business since July 2014.

Masters of Harmony is a chorus that specializes in close-harmony, four-part a cappella music. Its repertoire features Broadway, Pops, patriotic, and holiday selections arranged by some of the most talented musicians in the BHS. They are a fully auditioned chorus of amateur singers who love to perform and entertain and members come from all walks of life, and range in age from 20 to 80.
