29 Oct La Mirada Lamplighter to Host First Chamber Mixer

Brian Hews, Owner and Publisher of Hews Media Group, is pleased to host the very first chamber mixer for the newly organized La Mirada Chamber of Commerce. This exclusive meet and greet kicks off the beginning of the holiday season and will be held Wednesday, November 6, 2019, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.

“As a sustaining member of the La Mirada Chamber of Commerce it is my pleasure to be able to host this social gathering for the chamber members, City Council, and their hard-working staff,” said Hews, “the Lamplighter holds a special place in my heart as does the city of La Mirada. Introducing our offices and being able to mingle and support local business representatives and owners is what the newspaper is all about.”

Delivered to various businesses throughout the city – with 40,000 readers every week, the Lamplighter is the only local newspaper in La Mirada. Covering the city and surrounding communities, the paper strives to publish stories of local interest, events, and social activities. The Lamplighter is hand-delivered to over 30 establishments in the community and can also be found at city hall, the library, senior centers, and police station.

A brief history and introduction will be presented by Hews with light refreshments and door prizes to follow. “ We invite all of our members to take this opportunity to mingle with one another, get to know our city paper and meet the man behind it all,” said Noel Jaimes, Chamber Representative.
