La Mirada Chamber of Commerce will continue its speaker series on May 7th at 8:00 AM at 12Sixty Modern Pub & Kitchen in La Mirada located at 14299 Firestone Blvd, La Mirada, CA 90638.
We are happy to have Narcis Brasov as our special speaker for the month of May. Narcis is an experienced Estate Planning attorney in La Mirada. He creates custom-tailored trusts for individuals and couples, taking time to know each client’s needs and goals. Narcis empowers families to determine their own care and leave a legacy.
Brasov is a father, former teacher, attorney, and law professor. Prior to serving on the NLM USD School Board, he taught Spanish at Norwalk High School, he re-started the Spanish for Native Speaker’s program, giving students an education that honors their indigenous knowledge. He is fluent in Spanish and Romanian. Both he and his wife Erika have mentored student teachers. She has been with the school district for 16 years teaching science at Norwalk High School.
Brasov immigrated to the United States as a child. As part of a large, impoverished family, he learned English in school and had to adapt to a new culture. In 1999, he graduated from the University of Southern California with a Bachelor’s degree in Spanish and one in Philosophy. Later, he earned a Master’s degree in Philosophy from Biola University and a teaching credential from Azusa Pacific University.
In 2017, Brasov earned a Juris Doctor’s degree from Trinity Law School in Santa Ana, where he has taught since 2018. In 2019/2020, Mr. Brasov served on La Mirada’s Public Safety Commission, helping oversee efforts to keep the city safe, while coordinating with the state, county, and our school district. Brasov has served on the Norwalk-La Mirada School Board since 2021 and considers it a privilege to serve his community.
In addition to practicing law, Narcis teaches at his alma mater, Trinity Law School. Narcis and Erika are both USC Trojans, they have two daughters and in September, they will be welcoming twins via adoption!
