On Thursday, December 2nd, Sunshine Medical Equipment, a medical equipment and supply establishment in La Mirada, officially celebrated its grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony with the La Mirada Chamber of Commerce, members of the city council, city staff members, community business leaders, and Sunshine Medical Equipment team members. La Mirada Mayor Ed Eng and Christian Nersessian cut the red ribbon with the Chamber’s ceremonial scissors. The new business is located at 15065 Imperial Hwy, La Mirada, CA 90638.

Sunshine Medical Equipment is a medical retail establishment that aims to provide ease and comfort for those of limited mobility and to provide peace of mind throughout daily needs and tasks. This includes cushions for wheelchairs, or even the wheelchair itself, to bathroom safety mats and compression socks. Whether it’s long-term caretaker work or a small cut that needs wrapping, their goal is to provide medical-grade equipment for life’s necessities.

They have already been touched by the community’s response to their opening. Christian Nersessian stated, “We have received that special southern hospitality right here in SoCal and I wanted to take a minute and say thank you so much and we hope to make you all proud.”
